Family Studies

Course Description:

This course, students will focus on the tools and information needed to handle the challenges of living as a family member and citizen now and in the future.  Topics include communication, decision-making, problem solving, stress management, conflict resolution, family crises and learning how to balance work and family.  The student will be provided with a realistic view of the responsibilities of being a family member, parent, worker and citizen.  Students will determine the planning and cost of a wedding.
