Choir

The choir program is an excellent way for students to get involved!
While students are involved in a music class from kindergarten through 6th grade as part of their elementary education, when they enter junior high students have a chance to elect to be a part of the ensemble for the first time.
Our vocal program is broken into the junior high and high school choirs.  While they frequently will perform together, they are essentially two separate ensembles that meet at different times.  For the junior high they meet two or three times a week during SIP, while high school meets during a regular class period during the day.

SING!

The choir performs several times throughout the year at concerts, singing the National Anthem at sporting events, festivals, at the nursing home, graduation, and various other occasions.

This year our choirs are doing both 3 part and 2 part pieces, and will do a variety of styles as well as giving all interested a chance for solo work along the way.

Being a part of a choir is a responsibility, everyone else in the group depends on you to be reliable!

We are lucky enough to have an accompanist on hand for all rehearsals and concerts!
